Not only does bf3 have fully destructible environments, but the graphics engine is way more advanced and therefore much better looking than MAG or any other games mentioned above. Consoles simply cannot handle more than 24 players, or else DICE would have made it so.
If they lowered the visual quality so much to accomodate more players we wouldnt hear the end of it from the whiney console kids "but it doesn't look as good as kz3 waaaa waaaaa waaaaa"

this game looks so bad. so generic. brings absolutely nothing new to the genre. 5 hr single player campaign. besides the boring gameplay even the graphics are totally sub par. all this for $59.99. gee let me think about it.....

dude watching tv in high def is a lot different than playing a videogame on a computer monitor. there is a HUGE difference between 1280 x 720 vs 1980 x 1080. after gaming at 1080 res then switching to 720 i feel like im looking through parchment paper.
Yeah man this game looks pretty damn good on consoles, especially the 360 version. I am impressed with what crytek has pulled off. On ps3 it looks good but its running at a lower res and the frame rate is noticably lower.
Unfortunately for a PC gamer like me they have consolized the game too much with the new engine not looking anywhere near as good as crysis 1 (judging by the demo). Not to mention it felt like COD with a nanosuit.

who the hell wants to play a game without AA/AF? if i want to see jaggies and play at 30fps, i would play the console version.
if i want the absolute best gaming experience in all games with high res, settings maxed INCLUDING anti-aliasing, at 60fps, i need a high end video card such as the 6990, or a good cfx/sli setup. even with a single monitor.

i agree kon, the ps3 remake really doesnt look any better. in fact, the first pic i looked at i thought the one on the left was the HD remake, until i looked at the bottom and saw it was the ps2 version and my jaw dropped. very poor graphics in the remake.

Yes, the PC demo is dx 9 only. The final release version is also DX9 only. Crysis 2 is using older tech than even Crysis which is 4 years old.
Crysis 2 was made with consoles being priority and left PC gamers out in the cold after we were the only ones that supported crytek with the first game and made the sequel possible.
That is why PC gamers are angry.

No dx-11 support = no buy. Crysis was so great, its really sad to see crytek sell out and drop the ball like this.
